Music Starts From Silence (MSFS) facilitates the performance, publication, recording, and distribution of original works by exciting contemporary artists. See our store for vinyl, CD's, downloads, scores, and other merchandise. MSFS' releases and recording artists are listed below. Recent live events have included Loop 2.4.3, Erik Friedlander, Dafnis Prieto, John Amira, Jon Catler, Clogs, Sub-Verse, Gyan Riley, Lucio Menegan, Alex Vittum, and Jon Waldo (paintings and projections).

Services
The composers/performers on our roster have worked in theater, film, performance art, and dance, and are interested in collaborations and 'for hire' situations in a variety of mediums. Credits include work with Clogs, Newband (Harry Partch ensemble), Uncle Jimmy's Dirty Basement, John Jeserun, Alan Good Dance, Dafnis Prieto, Ben Verdery, Jon Catler, The National, Shara Worden (My Brightest Diamond), and others.
